Today deputies of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, accompanied by the Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin visited the Special Economic Zone "Alabuga".
On May 10th, 2012 the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and deputy general director of JSC "Special Economic Zones" on development and investor relations Vadim Dubovik attended the ceremony, dedicated to the opening of the second development stage of the SEZ "Alabuga" and gave a start to the customs procedure of free customs zone.

The SEZ "Alabuga" at international exhibitions February 29, 2012, the representatives of the Special Economic Zone "Alabuga" took part in several exhibitions hosted at "Crocus Expo" exhibition center in Moscow.
The Republic of Tatarstan and Turkey will develop cooperation in the sphere of furniture manufacturing. This was the issue discussed in the trade and investment furniture forum "Tatarstan-Turkey 2012", held on February 22th in "Corston-Kazan" (Kazan).
